Winter Supreme Loft

I did A LOT of research before ordering from this company and the quality of the product in terms of what you get (down, fill power, oz., material, etc.) overall is what stood out to me. I ended up ordering the 850 fill power Hungarian White Goose Comforter in Queen size/Summer Weight (4-5 Tog) and let me just say, it is spectacular! I added the Tencel shell and am currently using it with a duvet cover and blanket as it's cold here. The comforter is perfect--my husband who sleeps cold even said he is much warmer than when using our 40 year old, heavy, flat, feather comforter. It arrived in no time and was packaged beautifully. I can't wait to remove the blanket in the Spring/Summer and just float off to sleep. Very high quality, lightweight but substantial and the size/fit is great. Highly recommend this company!

I have an inexpensive "all seasons" duvet, which is fine in summer. But as nights get colder, it doesn't cut it. So I treated myself to this 850 loft goose down duvet (queen size, 12-13 tog, so the next-to-warmest; I didn't choose the very warmest because my bedroom doesn't get icy-cold, and I didn't want to overdo it).

The duvet arrived well-packed, and compressed inside a sturdy reusable cloth bag (which I'll use to store my all-season duvet, until summer comes). I unpacked it, and shook it a bit (as instructed) then left it for a couple of hours. It puffed up beautifully. When I gently squeezed one of the segments, I could feel the "springiness" of the down. FAR more so than the other duvet.

The first night was a bit of a disappointment; it felt much lighter and puffier than my other duvet (which was nice), but only a little bit warmer; my feet/lower legs still felt a bit chilly. I wondered if it was because I generally keep my duvet "flat", spread all over the bed, rather than gathering it around my body - so the next night, I consciously tucked the duvet around my legs before going to sleep. Woke up briefly a couple of hours later, toasty-warm (in fact, I had to "untuck" myself a bit to cool off). I've now had it for a week or so, and have no regrets. Bottom line: expensive, but a great buy! Note: Linens Delight offered me (and, I assume, other reviewers) a 15% off coupon after submitting a review, but that has NOT affected my opinion.

I'm 48 years old, and one of my few life regrets is not having this duvet 48 years ago. The sleep I could have had. Restful, luxurious comfort of this duvet is unmatched. I have a closet full of down duvets from years of searching for the perfect one, and settling for what I could find.

It's hard to put a price on quality and this is a quality, luxury duvet. I decided to spoil myself and I'm so glad I did! As previously stated it is like a comfy cloud wrapped around you. The only down side is I now don't want to get up in the morning for work.

Our duvet is just amazingly wonderful! Truly high quality that you can feel. No pockets of cold air, light and fluffy. We are in the process of exchanging our all seasons selection however to the summer weight option because we tend to run hot and the duvet seems to do an excellent job of retaining heat. I’m hoping the exchange process goes smoothly. I’m confident that it will. Top quality product!

850 Loft Hungarian White Goose Down Comforter

Awesome duvet. Top of the line. Each square is nice and full of down. I am using the all-season duvet at 850 Loft, 35 oz and it will be good year round. It is warm for a cold room but still allows the body to breath and not feel stifled. Even in a warmer room it isn’t too warm. It is perfect. Only thing I don’t like is that it is advertised as 700TC but if you read the fine print it is a TC of 350, doubled up. I was expecting super, super soft cotton, so initially I was a bit disappointed. But a TC of 350 is still pretty soft. The quality is superb.

I had bought a "Today's Special Value" down comforter. Within 2 weeks it tore, and it was very thin - not much down.
This comforter is awesome, and the summer weight has more than twice as much down as the one that tore.
Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended!
